Our family dentist patients come from throughout the Largo, Clearwater, Belleair, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, and Seminole neighborhoods of Florida because they want the very best comprehensive family dentist and cosmetic dental care for themselves and their loved ones. Our dentists spend real time with each patient, getting to know them, learning about their concerns and oral health objectives. Children age 3 and up, teens, and adults are all welcome here—and feel right at home because the entire Largo team is focused on patient comfort.
Our doctors look for the root of any existing problems so treatment is effective and lasts. They also want to prevent dental problems, as well as treat them. This means they look for conditions that may lead to problems in the future and treat these conditions.
Adults looking for a Largo dentist appreciate the true value they receive as Drs. Don and Amy Vespa take a comprehensive look at their oral health and esthetics, then develop a plan that is individualized for their needs and objectives—a plan that will improve or maintain oral health optimally with the goal of reducing the amount of restorative dentistry needed over a lifetime. As your Largo Dentist, we’ll treat you like part of our family, and provide personalized and professional care.
Dr. Fanny Rovira is your family dentist team and improve smiles using the healthiest methods and materials—with the focus placed on quality and long-term satisfaction. They also perform the full range of dental services so patients rarely need to be referred to a specialist in another location.
If you want true value for your dental investment, a Largo dentist and professionals who genuinely care about you and your family, look to Pinellas Family Dental. We’re in the practice of making all ages smile!
We don’t accept walk-ins, but we often have same-day availability.
The fastest way to be seen is to:
• Use our “Schedule Now” button online
• Or give us a call so we can get you in as soon as possible
Patients choose us because they want personalized care in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
We take the time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and create a plan that works for you—not a one-size-fits-all approach. From kids to adults, our goal is to make dental visits easier and more comfortable.
We focus on more than just fixing problems—we look at why they’re happening.
By focusing on prevention and long-term solutions, we help you avoid bigger dental issues down the road. Everything we do is centered around keeping your smile healthy for the long run.
We work with most employer-funded PPO dental plans.
We do not accept HMO or Medicare dental plans, and we are out-of-network with all BayCare plans.
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to submit the claim on your behalf. Your insurance company will send payment directly to you, and we’ll walk you through exactly what to expect.
We accept a variety of payment options for your convenience, including:
• Cash
• Checks
• Debit cards
• All major credit cards
• CareCredit
• FSA and HSA cards
Please note: there is a 2.75% service fee on all credit card transactions.
For FSA or HSA cards, we recommend checking with your card issuer to confirm that your dental treatment is covered
We do not offer IV sedation.
However, we do provide other comfort options, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), to help you feel more relaxed during your visit.
Our team focuses on creating a calm, comfortable experience, and we’ll talk through all available options to help you feel at ease during treatment.
We welcome children as young as age 2.
At this age, visits are often more about getting comfortable than doing a full exam. We focus on helping your child get used to the office, the sights and sounds, taking “chair rides,” and counting teeth in a fun, low-pressure way.
A happy visit is a simple, positive introduction to the dental office.
For younger children or those who may be a little nervous, we keep things light and fun—no pressure, just getting comfortable. This might include:
• Sitting in the chair
• Meeting the team
• Counting teeth
• Taking a quick look if they’re ready
The goal is to build trust and help your child feel safe and confident for future visits.
Yes—parents are always welcome to come back with their child.
That said, we often recommend giving your child a chance to go back on their own, especially as they get a little older. Kids tend to do really well and build confidence when they’re able to have that independence.
We’re always happy to:
• Have the doctor come out and review everything with you
• Invite you back for the exam
• Go over any treatment or concerns in detail
Our goal is to make both you and your child feel comfortable every step of the way.
Yes! We love seeing kids and teens.
We focus on preventive care like cleanings, fluoride, and sealants, while also helping kids learn good habits they’ll carry into adulthood.
Yes, we place and restore dental implants right here in our office.
Implants are a strong, long-term solution for missing teeth and are designed to look and feel like your natural teeth.
We use high-quality, tooth-colored materials like Emax and Zirconia.
These crowns are strong, natural-looking, and designed to protect your tooth while blending in with your smile.
Yes! Invisalign is a great option for teens and adults who want to straighten their teeth without traditional braces.
Clear aligners are comfortable, removable, and easy to fit into your daily routine.
Yes, we offer both in-office whitening and take-home custom trays.
• In-office whitening is done here at the office for fast, noticeable results in a single visit
• Take-home trays are custom-made so you can whiten gradually at home on your own schedule
Both options give you the same end result—it really just depends on how quickly you want to get there.
• In-office whitening = same-day results
• Take-home trays = typically 2–3 weeks, depending on your starting shade and how white you want to go
We’ll help you choose
what works best for your timeline and goals.
A root canal removes infection from inside a tooth to save it.
With modern techniques, most patients find it no more uncomfortable than getting a filling—and often feel relief once it’s done.
We take a more conservative, long-term approach to smile treatments.
While veneers can be an option in some cases, we often recommend full-coverage crowns because they provide better strength, protection, and long-term results. We’ll always go over what’s best for your specific situation.
Occlusal therapy focuses on how your bite functions.
If you’re dealing with jaw pain, grinding, or worn teeth, we look at the root cause and recommend solutions like adjustments or night guards to protect your smile.
We do our best to provide as many services as possible right here in our office for your convenience.
In some cases—such as certain medical concerns or more complex treatment—we may refer you to a specialist. When we do, it’s to providers we’ve worked with for years and trust to take great care of our patients.
We stay involved in your care and work closely with our specialists to make sure you feel supported every step of the way.
